Paying Tribute to a Friend of CROP
Our friend, Gene DuPell, was passionate about CROP Walk; always eager to participate. Our friend had courage; despite his illness and confined to a wheelchair, he would give it "his all" each year. Our friend was a blessing and an inspiration. CROP Walk 2007 was his final mission outreach to his community and the world. It is because of his love and dedication to CROP Walk that we honor and remember our dear friend, Gene DuPell, who entered eternal life May 22, 2007.

GRAINS OF RICE
There is a cool site online called FreeRice.com; click on the link to start playing the word game & earning grains of rice. Here's how it works: for each word you get right, Free Rice donates 20 grains of rice through the UN World Food Program to help end hunger. Can't be for real, right? We checked our resources on http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/charity/freerice.asp to confirm it's not a hoax. Please read the FAQ page on FreeRice.com to find out more about their program. Come play and make a difference in your life and the lives of others.
